KT undertook a complete refurbishment of her home in NW London and asked GreenSteps to help her ensure it is as eco-friendly as possible. The project began in July 2007 and was completed in early October:
The loft was converted into a soundproof music room, using natural insulation materials, carbon positive woodfibre board and lime based breathable plasters. This is how it looked before:
Here is the loft conversion almost complete, with the natural insulating woodfibre board and breathable eco-plaster on the walls and ceiling.
