GreenSteps Launches Clean and Green Paint at Tesco
Specialist eco-building supplier GreenSteps has launched its own brand of Eco-Paint at Tesco. It is now available at 60 Tesco stores
GreenSteps Natural Eco-Paint is a solvent free, 100% VOC free paint made almost entirely from naturally derived and renewable raw materials. It is naturally alkaline and therefore requires no chemical preservatives. The eco-friendly paint is easy to use and is applied with a brush or a roller as with any other paint. It is non-toxic, highly durable, breathable and emits no indoor air pollution at all.
GreenSteps' Managing Director, Ben Nickell said: “Chemicals from ordinary paints have been found to be emitted from surfaces for years after application. We are delighted to be able to make our clean eco-paint accessible to everyone through Tesco. At only £16.99 for 2.5 litres, GreenSteps paint provides a practical and affordable green choice.”
GreenSteps Natural Eco-Paint is the first 100% VOC free paint to be sold through a major high street supermarket. It is being sold nationwide through 60 Tesco stores in a pure White and a rich, warm Magnolia colour.
Tesco buyer Fabio Perrotta said, “Customers are increasingly looking for more natural products. This is a great product at a great price and we expect it to fly off the shelves.”
