Terms of Use
By using the Greensteps website ("the Site") you agree to be bound by the terms of use and, if you purchase goods using the site, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of sale.
This Agreement by which you agree to abide in exploring and accessing information from this Site governs the terms on which you ("the User") are granted access to the Site by Greensteps Ltd ("the Company"). The Site contains proprietary notices and copyright information, the terms of which the User agrees to observe and follow.
Viruses, Worms, Trojan Horses and other potentially destructive programs
The User assumes full responsibility for the protection of their computer system including computer hardware and software, stored data on their computer system and the stored data and computer systems including hardware and software of third parties who may access or be otherwise connected to the User's computer system.
The User assumes the responsibility of ensuring that programs or other data downloaded or otherwise received from the Site are free from viruses, worms, trojan horses or other items of a destructive nature.
Data Security
Greensteps Ltd ("the Company) will take reasonable steps to ensure that data transmitted electronically to the Company via the Site or otherwise and stored by the Company is not accessed by unauthorised third parties. The User accepts the risk that data transmitted electronically to the Company via the Site or otherwise may be intercepted before reaching the Company or accessed from the Company's data storage means by third parties unauthorised by the Company and may be exploited unlawfully by the said unauthorised third parties.
The Company does not assume responsibility for guarding against the acts of the said unauthorised third party.
Connected Sites
The Company makes no representations as to the security, or proprietary of any website which may be accessed through the site. Connected websites accessed through the site are independent websites over which the Company does not exercise any control whether financial, editorial or of any other kind and are not in any way endorsed by the Company.
Information contained in the Site
Information contained in the Site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical mistakes. Information may be changed or updated without notice and any queries relating to the information including queries as to its recency or accuracy should be addressed to support@greensteps.co.uk .
All information made available from within the Site is provided 'as is' for information purposes only and without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, any warranties as to non-infringement costs, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Information made available from within the Site is published in good faith but the Company accepts no liability in relation to this information including without limitation its accuracy or reliability.
Exclusion of Liability
In no circumstances will the Company be liable for the use of any direct or indirect, consequential, special or other damage howsoever resulting from the use of this Site or any other website connected to the Site by means of a hypertext link or otherwise whether such damage is caused by transmission from the site or a connected website to the User's computer system of viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other destructive items, corrupted data or data incompatible with the User's computer system or third party's interception of or access to data or whatever nature including without limitation personal data and credit and payment card information transmitted by the User electronically to the Company or otherwise howsoever caused, such damage to include, without limitation, lost profits, interruption to business, loss on the whole or any part of a program or programs or any data howsoever stored whether saved on a computer system or otherwise.
General
Unless expressly otherwise stated in respect of a particular sale made on or through the site, all sale agreements between the "Company" and the "Purchaser" effected on or through the site will be in accordance with and subject to the terms and conditions of sale.
Terms and Conditions of Sale:
Acceptance of Order
When we receive your order we will send you a confirmation email indicating that your order is being processed. This does not constitute acceptance of your order. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we dispatch your order. This term has been included to protect Greensteps Ltd in the case that we have inadvertently wrongly priced goods, we are unable to collect authorisation for your payment or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. If a price has changed, we will always contact you first to ensure the new price is acceptable.
Delivery
Greensteps Ltd works closely with a number of suppliers to bring you a wider range of products and services.
All orders are processed through our web site and computer system and directed to the appropriate third parties who, in turn will dispatch the items requested. In many cases, where multiple items have been ordered, there may be more than one package sent and different delivery dates for each package. Each supplier we work with uses courier and postal services of their own choice.
Delivery of all parcels is usually within 1-7 working days unless in exceptional circumstances. Should there be a delay of more than 7 days anticipated, you will be contacted to inform you of this. As products are being held and dispatched by third parties, Greensteps Ltd can accept no responsibility for delays in delivery time, however we will do our utmost to ensure all orders are processed as quickly and as smoothly as possible.
Delivery charges vary between product ranges and, in many cases, are dependent on the quantity of items ordered. All delivery charges are clearly explained in the product category descriptions. All prices will be calculated automatically in the shopping basket. No extra costs will be added as the customer proceeds though the checkout process.
All items can be sent anywhere on Mainland UK unless otherwise specified. At the present time, orders can only be accepted from UK customers.
Cancelling your order
Under the Consumer Protection Regulations you may cancel your order for any reason within seven working days following the day on which you receive the goods. If you would like to cancel your order, you may do so by contacting customer services. Cancellations can only be accepted by notifying us either in writing, or by telephone, at any time before dispatch and up to 7 working days after delivery. Cancellations made before dispatch will be reimbursed in full provided you have notified us of your intention to cancel as outlined above, but we regret postage cannot be refunded if cancellations are made after dispatch. Full reimbursement for goods that have already been delivered to you will only be made if the goods are returned in their original, undamaged packaging, in the same condition as supplied to you, and in accordance with our returns policy as set out below.
Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with any item you buy from us, please contact customer services. We will provide clear instructions for the return of the goods for refund or exchange. Return postage costs are not pre-paid and are your responsibility. Return postage costs will be reimbursed by us only in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. You must return the goods in their original, undamaged packaging, in the same condition as supplied to you. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. We reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value of returned goods if the product or packaging is not in fully resaleable condition. Please ensure that goods returned are accompanied by a completed Returns Form.
Disclaimer
Greensteps Ltd accepts no liability for the misuse or poor quality of any product sold. In the event of injury or death caused by any product purchased through Greensteps Ltd, queries should be directed to the manufacturer of the product. If you would like help locating the manufacturer, our customer service department will be happy to help.
Governing Law
If not actually the case, the contract under which you use the website shall be deemed to have been made in England and the construction, validity and performance of these terms and conditions shall be governed in all respects by English law and the English courts shall have non-exclusive jursidiction in respect of any dispute between you and Greensteps Ltd concerning your use of this website.
