GreenSteps Ltd. was established in 2006 to simplify the 'green' marketplace for everyone. A small family run business, GreenSteps supplies eco-friendly products directly to your door through our online shop. GreenSteps can also provide technical support for eco-friendly property development and has a complete eco-refurbishment service available in the London area. Our Aims
We all have a vested interest in the environment, we all want to live healthier lifestyles and we certainly all want to save money. Given the choice, most of us would choose to encourage sustainable and responsible industries too. So why do people still buy products which don't aspire to achieve these objectives? The 'green' marketplace is a minefield in which lots of clever marketing can make products and services appear environmentally sound. Tenuous links are often made between a product's qualities and its health or environmental credentials. Products are frequently not as environmentally friendly as they are made to sound.

The GreenSteps Model
GreenSteps has developed The GreenSteps Model to express what it really means to be eco-friendly. GreenSteps uses The GreenSteps Model to identify and assess products which we make available through the GreenSteps website. We look for solutions which primarily address one Green Step from the model and then ensure that the additional qualities of that product address as many of the other Green Steps as possible. In this way we can be sure that each product achieves the very best sustainable balance of 'green' qualities.
All of the products found on the GreenSteps website have been assessed and approved under the GreenSteps model.
